The average profit rate of Top Hundred Electronics Enterprises in 2005 is no more than 2.5%, the lowest in the past five years. Weak research and development ability and insufficient technological innovation is the main contradiction and one of the difficulties Top Hundred Electronics Enterprises faced in development. Despite a certain degree of progress of Top Hundred Electronics Enterprises in the technological innovation in our country, the overall technical self supply rate of the industry is less than 20%, especially in the key technique and link, lagging behind 5 to 10 years compared with the international advanced level. And the industry is still enslaved to others in the field of the key component and software.
