68th China Electronics Fair’s News Conference was ceremoniously held in Beijing on 16th Aug. and nearly 100 participants attended the conference, including government officials, trade experts, overseas and domestic partners of China Electronic Fair and media. It was also the first time that China Electronic Fair held its news conference in Beijing as requested by the media and briefed the fair’s progress.

　　Since China Electronics Fair has been regularly staged in two cities of Shanghai and Shenzhen, interaction with the media is also conducted regularly in above two cities. As a culture center, Beijing’s industry isn’t satisfied with such “right to know”. Hence, CEF news conference was held for the first time in Beijing. As informed by one senior official on the site, this news conference has gathered elites in Beijing’s electronic industry media and it was the news conference he attended with most participants and of highest levels. Deputy Chief Editor Shi Huawei of “China Electronic Newspaper”, Managing Director Chen Liying of “Electronic Business China”, Vice President Ji Xiaodong of ChinaECnet, and senior journalists from “Electronics Supply & Manufacturing -China”, “Electronic Engineering Times-China”, “Electronic Engeering & Product World” and “Electronic Design & Application World” have attended this news conference. CEF’s partners including Xu Chunli, the Secretary-General of China Electronic Instrument Industrial Association, Jin Cunzhong, the Secretary-General of China Electronic Instrument Industrial Association, and Wan Li, Manager of International Department, China Electronic Enterprise Association and its overseas partners including South Korean Electronic Association, Nikkei BP, TEEMA and HK Board of Trade Development have attended this conference.

　　On the news conference, Mr. Wang Bingke, the Vice Director of Economic System Reform and Economic Operation Division of Ministry of Information Industry introduced the development of IT industry and expressed that facilitation of extensive exchange in IT industry by virtue of the grand platform of CEF is of great significance. After that, Chen Wenhai, the General Manager of China Electronic Exhibition & Information Communication Co., Ltd gave a panoramic introduction on fair dynamics. Deputy General Manager Doc. Dong Xuegeng explained in details Asia LCD Industry Summit Forum, the famous FPD summit seminar under FPD International that will enter into China.
