The most advanced technologies concerning FPD in the world, which include 55 inch SED, liquid FPD supporting the digital specification of 4K, high-response liquid FPD with 2.9ms MPRT, 32 inch low power consumption liquid FPD (65W), super high clear liquid FPD (500ppi), 103 inch PDP, 100inch liquid FPD, 25 inch organic EL etc., were displayed on FPD International 2006 in PACIFICO Yokohama on October 18. Based on the analysis of this exhibition, we can foresee the future direction of FPD’s development and new business expansion after TV.

　　One month later, FPD International 2006 (China) will be held in Shanghai. 2006 (Shanghai) Asian LCD Industry Summit jointly held by China Electronic Appliance Corporation (CEAC) and Nikkei Business Publications, Inc will be seriously brought forwarded on 68th CEF and（AEES）---- the largest pageant concerning electronic industry in China. Its purpose is to gather Asian LCD authorities to analyze and discuss the most advanced LCD technologies, consolidate whole machine, panel, pattern group, components, material and channel into a whole industrial chain.

　　Sharp has canceled its representative’s director qualification. Catayama Mikimo, director of business department including LCD business and AV system will deliver special speech on the forum. Its technicians will give a clear interpretation of its advanced LCD technologies.
